Cautiously optimistic
« on: January 30, 2013, 23:41:56 pm »
We are day 2 of 4 ozs of milk with DD and no reactions yet.

 :o

I am mixing a lactose free choc milk half/half with Baboo (made by Natrel - supposed to have a gentler mix of proteins than regular cows milk).

I had a sinking feeling that we were reacting this morning... a few days of waking pre-6am and I thought for sure it must be a reaction... but I treated as a NWing this morning and she went back to sleep from 550am and woke for the day at 715am!  Bedtime was 750pm last night... we have had a few days of horrid night sleep - DH woke her one morning, loud neighbours the next.. then she pulled a 20 min car nap yesterday at 945am!  Thankfully she did nap yesterday PM, but I woke after only 1hr 40 (generally a 2 hr nap).

I think we are good!!!!

OMG -I think we are GOOD!!!

She guzzled 6 ozs right before her nap today (the max I will give in a day right now) and she went off just fine at 2pm and I am going to wake her now at 345pm - not a peep the whole time!

So it is both the milk proteins and the lactose then?

I don't think so... I just grabbed the lactose free choc to help ease her in without too much gas... I am already down to 2/3 Baboo and 1/3 choc and she totally guzzled her entire sippy full today!

No nap disruption at all!

Still fine!  Though she wasn't interested in much milk today.. only had about 3 ozs.
