10 month old early wake time ... Help please!
« on: February 02, 2013, 12:30:31 pm »
For the last 3 weeks my 10 month son has changed his wake time and I am not sure what to do to correct it. He is now down to 2 naps a day, 1.5 hour in the morning and about 2 hours in the afternoon. He gets very grumpy at around 6:30, almost like he could go to bed at that time. He used to sleep from 7:30 – 7:30 but for the last 3 weeks he has been waking up at 6 am sometimes even a little bit before that .What I did was to feed him and put him right back in the crib until 7:00 am, sometimes he will fall back to sleep but other times just cry. Also, the last couple nights he has been waking up at 3:30 am on the dot!!He usually just makes noises but falls back to sleep but last night he was screaming so I checked his diaper, put him back in the crib, he cried for a little bit but fell asleep till 7:15 am. I am at a complete loss and very tired!!! He has 4 teeth and he could be getting more…not sure. What can I do??? Any suggestions??Thanks!

Could you post your day for us in EAS format e.g.

WU 6am
A
S 9-11am etc?

Have you tried medicating for teeth?  Is he an independent sleeper?
