« on: March 07, 2013, 07:46:35 am »
Ok so ive ruled out ot, environmental factors and nightmares our cause of ews...that leaves ut and  teething. I give meds which def makes a diff so im sure he needs to drop the nap..

Nap day

Wu 6
Nap 2-3 capped
Bt 8/8.15

He wont take a nap any earlier and i cant cap it anymore as hes a bear all afternoon when i do!!

Hes had a few nnds and will do upto 12.5h nights but i need some consistency and a plan to stop wu creeping back to 6. Also everytime i allow a cu nap day im back to square one with a 6 am wu...

Nnd

Bt 6
Wu 6.30

But what do i do if i have to do 5.30 bt and wu is 5.30??! Hes not great with tacking on...

Whats worked for others with lsn 33mos? Any advice, btdt and hand holding appreciated! Tgis 1-0 is hard!!

You might find he starts to tack on a bit after a few days of no nap. A bit like the nap lengthening when they first do the 2-1 transition.

The other question i have is that i got him to nap yesterday so

Wu 6
Nap 1-2
Bt 8

He had a nw at 5.30 which he usually has around that time when he naps...could that be ut at bt? Previously pm a time was 4.5h and when he has nw at 5.30 he ss but then wakes by 6 but yesterday pm a time was 5h45 and wu was 7 after brief nw at 5.30 so question is could that be ut at all? I give dream meds so i know its not teeth...

If i can get him to nap today should i aim for 5h45 pm a again or 6hr?

Sorry for all the questions!

I'm really not that great with specific A times, but at this age 15 mins difference in A time is really not going to make a huge difference. We are not talking about a little baby here! I would try for an 11hr day if you have no nap, see how that goes. I don't think the 5.30am NW is UT, especially as he went back to sleep for 1.5hrs! UT would tend to be difficult settling, or long happy NWs in the middle of the night.
