DD , 4.5months attached to boob
« on: March 07, 2013, 18:37:52 pm »
Hi, my DD is 4.5 months and she was sleeping and settling well. The last week she has been very hard to get to sleep and sometimes even missing her nap, if I breastfeed she will fall asleep and stay attached for almost an hour, every now and then sucking. Is this normal growth spurt? Will she fall back into her routine?

Thanks,
Lisa

It could be a GS but there is really no reason she should need to be attached while sleeping so long. Once she stops actively feeding and the rate of swallows to sucks drops you can gently unlatch her. Will she take a soother/paci?
