quick q-waking at6am
« on: March 23, 2013, 06:12:40 am »
So after a couple of months of rotten naps adjusting
to 2-1,we have successfully been on just the 1 nap for
a while now.we start our day at 7am,she naps 12-2pm&then
back into bed at 7pm.the past couple of weeks though,
she is waking anytime from 6am.she's happy to stay in the
cot,sometimes dozing,sometimes sucking her fingers
sitting up.if i push BT a bit,would we get a closer to 7am WU?

Sometimes a longer day helps to extend NTS for some LOs. It depends on whether you think your DD will get OT with a longer day, which of course may make her prone to EW! The general rule is that LOs days shouldn't be longer than 13h. If you are going to extend her day it might be worth doing in gradually - perhaps by 15m /30m max in the 1st instance. Whatever you try, it's usually worth sticking at for a week to see if it does the trick.

Hope that helps  :)
