Cold turkey on night feeds?
« on: April 03, 2013, 09:56:12 am »
Wee man is 8.5 months we recently dropped df with some success for a while but he is now waking up for it again or waking for two night feeds and I'm sick of it. I've posted about this a few times before he did have problems with reflux etc but now he is on a good dose of meds and I think enough is enough just a bit unsure how to get him to settle without a bottle in the night and he does seem genuinely hungry sometimes he used to feed majority of his intake at night due to the reflux but he does now take more by day. I'm hoping if I cut the night feeds out completely he will take even more by day. He does well with solids too 3 meals so I don't think he really 'needs' these night feeds now surely? Any thoughts? Could be that he in fact does need the formula but the solids are making him too full during the day to take what he needs.. Milk first until closer to his first birthday.

How many bottles does he have a day right now?  What is his average volume in 24 hrs?
