I am from an era where we sat in the front seat of the car, no seat belts with the windows closed and both our parents smoking and I lived...lol.  We still all wear our helmets though, oh and seatbelts too!

I remember riding in the truck box on the highway for about 10km when I was around 6yrs old, with my older sis and the dog. It was super fun, and I am kind of sad that my LO's won't get to experience that....OTOH, even considering it for them feels dangerously insane!
