My daughter useddd to sleep until 4-5am no problems. But lateley my 17 week old daughter is pretty much Wide awake after mid-night-ish. And i just dont now why.
Shes baby chatting, playing once awake. And she can be awake for hours!
She hardly takes naps through out the day. If shes does there very short naps x3 times probably. For 20-30min each time.

5-6am - comes and lay on top of my bed and i try to get her off to sleep. My daughter is ng tube so her feed takes an hour.
7am ng feed is done. Go downstairs and she plays on her baby mat.
8-10am during that time she has a 20-30minute nap laying on the sofa.
10am until 11am - ng tube feed.
12-2pm - during that time she has her 20-30mins nap on sofa.

2pm ng tube feed.
4pm she has her bath time before her dad gets home so he can spend time with her.
4:30-6pm she plays.
6pm-7pm she has an ng tube feed.
By 6:30pm she falls asleep by herself for the rest of the evening
We did used to (3days ago) feed her an ng tube feed but she would still wake up between 12-1am. So relatives mentioned to stop feeding her at 10pm and wait for her to wake you.
Between 12:30-1:30am she now wakes up so she has her ng tube feed. And pretty much lays there for hours baby talking, grunting, no crys. Moans for her dummy.

Help??

Hi Hon- Welcome to the boards!!

You say that she is getting NG feeds- are you able to share the reason for this? Could she also have some reflux making her unsettled? Is there a plan to move away from the NG feeds to oral feeds?

Also- does she sleep while you are giving her the feed? This may influence how tired she is when it's nap time. How are you settling her currently- do you wrap her? Will she sleep longer anywhere else- like the swing, in a baby carrier with you, or the car?
