Fussy While Nursing

SO I think we are getting our EASY routine worked out.  But I have a new question.   SO thankful for you ladies who are willing to take time to help answer those of us needing counsel!

So here's the issue...

Annalise has been fussing in the evenings while nursing.  She will fuss until a letdown comes. I believe she is just being impatient but sometimes I'm afraid we skip feedings as a result.  She never fusses at feeds when my milk is full and the let-down is immediate but sometimes toward the end of the day she will need to nurse for a couple minutes before let-down. 

Does anyone have some advice?

Have you tried expressing a bit of milk to get a letdown before you put her on? What about breast compressions? Breast compression

What Ali said, but also can you remind us how old she is?
What about something like a nursing necklace that she can look at and be distracted by while she's hanging out and waiting?

Sorry gals, I disappeared for a bit.  She is almost 4 months but I am almost certain it was a growth spurt now as it has resolved. Thank you for your attention!
