EASY if wake-up time always changes
« on: June 16, 2013, 07:29:54 am »
Hi there, It will be very appreciated if you could help me.
My DD is 9 month now. The problem is that she sometimes gets up at 7, sometimes at 8 o'clock. So how should I stick to the 4hours routine if her wakeup time varies?
Here is her Easy if she wakes up at 7:
7 BF (1hr later solids)
10 nap for 0.5 hr or 1 hr
11 BF (1hr later solids)
13 nap for 1hr or 1.5 hrs
15 BF
18 solids
19:30/20 BF, bath and sleep

If she gets up at 8am, everything will be delayed by 1 hour. But still sleep at around 8pm.

So my question is: am I doing right by delaying her EASY according to wakeup time? Or should I try to wake her up at same time each day? Say a round 7am. Many thanks.

If she's happy with you delaying the EASY along with her WU and it doesn't cause any other problems I'd carry ones you are. If you start getting any nap refusal or NWs you might need to think about doing something else.

I have read here that it is best to not varying things by more than an hour, so if she sleeps beyond 8, it is probably best to wake her.
