Hand her over to DH and go and give C a big cuddle.  It's so hard feeling torn, but this is a short time and will pass.
If you're in that PPD place, get yourself to the GP and get some help.  You can continue to BF on a lot of ADs these days, so not a need to give up, but could be the 'boost' (for want of a better word) to get you through this phase and out the other side.

We're here for you :-*

Here for you too Nicola xxx

Keep going. Weeks 1 & 2 were a breeze for us, weeks 3 & 4 were very hard. We've settled down again now in weeks 5 & 6. It won't always be like this.

Thanks we had a better night. The early hours of the morning are tough though as she's so unsettled but I think that's wind issues. One spit up in the night requiring a new gro-bag. I've never done so much washing!!

Hugs.

Can you feed LO while you watch C in the bath or read stories? Will she sit in a bouncy chair and watch you if DH can't hold her?

She doesn't like being in the bouncy seat. I think she's too slumped in it as she's always sick sat in it. Same with car seat. Hopefully once she's a bit stronger that will be better. She's obviously not good with floor time either at the minute.

I've brought C's bath earlier to bath both girls together so at least am there for part of that. DH is working tonight so am going to be doing both with my mums help. The end of the day gets v messy and G is so unhappy that it really stresses C out and so it really is best if G isn't crying over C'a bedtime routine as it gets us all stressed and upset. I'm sure we'll be able to do BT together soon so we just need to make some changes in the meantime.
