Ok 2ndnight done and has been awake since 5. I haven't got him up as playing lullaby to him. He isn't the happiest but not sobbing. Just awake. When do I give up and just face up that I have a baby that doesn't need 12 hrs sleep anymore? I'm definitely willing to try this for longer but just wondering when I should giv up xx

Well I think a lot of LOs don't do 12 at night. But, I do think they need at least 10 hours of night sleep - at least...generally 10.5 STTN is considered full night. With all transitions though OT can present itself. So hold steady for now.

What did EAS look like today and last night? X

We're all going through it with you even though we're giving you advice. :) we feel your pain believe me. My lo has slept 12hrs a night a handful of times. When we were on two naps 10.5 was normal. Now we are on 1 and 11-11.5 is normal. He's a LSN High A times need baby. What is your lo like? Anything under 10.5 his usually OT. But that could just mean he's OT for the day but UT for his naps if that makes sense.

Ok I've been putting Hugo to bed at 7 at night after only 1 nap per day and he is waking at 5.50 and slowly getting earlier. Do you think I should try 7.30 bt?

Have you tried an EBT? Sounds OT - or....the nap adjusted a little.
What time is the nap now and how long?

Ok crèche are putting him down straight after lunch so he is down for 12. Coping fine with that and is in great form with it. He is sleeping for 1.5 to 2 hrs. He  wasn't in good form this eve so put him to bed at 6.45. We will see what time he wakes in the morning xxx

What time is BT? - any napping?
You could try w2s if you think it's habitual...

He naps at 12 for around 2 hrs. He is quite a cranky child at the moment. Being super needy and the likes.

Hugs, could defiantly all be teeth. The canines and molars made Z super grumpy and fussy...
Can you resettle at the 5am WU? - if not try sneaking in at 4am and stirring him (not waking) and then sneaking out to see if it will reset his sleep cycle. If it works I'd do it for 3 nights.

Alternatively you could push the nap out a touch later, if it's been at 12 a long time. But with the EW that will be hard...
