What does/did your 25m old day look like?
« on: August 07, 2013, 06:04:55 am »
Hey ladies,

We've been having som trouble for a while re:EW/short nights. On the whole my DD is sleeping
10.5h a night and is not OT. On those days her day usually looks like this:

WU:5.30
Nap:12.45 (2h capped)
BT:6.45-7pm

On days where she's had 10h or less and us OT we do this:

WU:5am
Nap:12.30-3pm (capped)
BT:6.30

I'm fed up of the early starts. I would like get to go back to her min 11h nights or longer. I'm guessing she needs less DTS. To that end I was just curious as to what others are doing/did at this age?

TIA x

A - 6-6.30am
Nap - 1-3pm
BT - 8pm

so pretty similar wrt length of night sleep. We need to start capping the nap too but she is cutting the last of the canines so waiting for them to be through.

We started the gro-clock about a week ago and so far she has not been calling me until it goes off - might be worth a try x

Thanks, I was thinking about a gro-clock this morning. She's started to lave her room to find me!

My only hesitation re: capping further is Rs tendency to get OT ESP when teething. Her cainines are still not all the way down and molars are still not through.

Thanks x

yeah, I probably would not cap if she is actively teething, I don't with M and 2 hours is not THAT much for her age really especially if she gets OT easily. I would start with the clock so she knows when it is ok to get up and then once teeth are settling cap the nap to more like 1.5.

My lo is 25 months old + her usual routine is:
Awake - 6.30-7am
Nap - 1pm (capped at 1 hr 30mins but usually wakes before then)
Bed - 7.30pm (asleep by 8pm)
