first thing first, u go to bed! ;)  I think even when you have the right A time, it will take some time for his body to readjust.  Constant changing in itself might cause problems.

So this was yesterday

WU 0541
A 5hr30
S 1111-1238
A 5hr02 (5hr20)
BT 1740 (1800)
NW 1855-1900
NW 0022-0058
NW 0430 co, ss
NW 0510-0645 hysteria, wiwo
WU 0725

So as you see we had a few OT NW and then he woke after 10.5hrs but i was so tired by then that i was determined to get him to sleep again. I did wiwo for 1.5hrs and he finally fell asleep for another 40 minutes.
I think his sleep cycle is 40 minutes and not 45.

Anyways, should i try 5hr A today??

Lots of hugs for you both!!  Would he last 5h, I wonder?  You have broken the cycle of 5-ish wake up, I hope, and you have a later start of the day, shall we do 12pm nap time?  Watch his clues a bit, or a longer wind down.

Fx for the day

Take it easy a bit on yourself.  I know it is hard when you are so tired.  When you are more relaxed, hopefully he will be, too!  hugs!!

you should do early nights!!  I had insomnia, so that was a killer in itself!!  Stress and worry about sleep didn't help either!

How long do you leave him when he wakes? No chance he'd resettle? Excellent work on getting him back to sleep this morning, hopefully tomorrow he'll go back down more quickly.

In my experience with him if he doesnt resettle within 5-10 min he wont resettle at all... Usually if he does resettle he does it alone and wiwo doesnt work for naps.
