Ugh!!! Already 2 NW one right after the other. I don't know if ut, OT, or teeth?!?! First one 1800-1805 and then woke again at 1812 screaming. Gave him meds but he kept screaming so I stayed with him a bit until he relaxed, probably 20 minutes or so, it is now 1910. I keep thinking he is asleep but every few minutes he rolls around...

You mean BT? Do 645? You don't think I should stick to A times for BT also? So do lets say 4hr A since the nap was only 1hr and maybe he will tack on? If not then let's say he sleeps 11hrs he will wake at 4... Fr sure I can get him back to sleep and he will catch up a bit, no?
Oh and I forgot to respond to this post.  I didn't mean that you shouldn't do A time.  I was just gathering information to see if we can find something logical.

He is acting so so strange! At 1920 after he didn't move for about 19 min i decided to go in and get the DM ready to have if i need them in the middle of the night. Usually when ds sleeps he doesnt wake when i am in there. I open the door to his room and he lifts his head and looks at me! I have a video monitor and i was sure he was sleeping!! I had to stay with him another 10 minutes until he fell asleep because when i tried to leave he became hysterical! So weird!! He never lies completely still if he is awake! So the nw was 1hr20... Maybe this is all something developmental???...

Maybe he was just falling asleep or in light sleep.  Developmental leap disturbs sleep, for sure!!

Well he didnt wake again but big surprise he woke at 5!!!!  >:(
I gave dream meds and i really dont know what to do with this kid. It is all so strange! I am now sitting on the sofa and watching him through the monitor roll around. He slept an hour all day yesterday! You would think with the ebt he would catch up a little at least!!! Its like he cant aleep - can a baby have insomnia?  :P :D

I am hoping he falls back asleep before i lose my patience, but i doubt it... :-\

:(  do you think that it was UT?  Some people say that when there is a NW so early in the sleep, it meant OT for them.  What about Liam?  It is as if he had 2 naps yesterday.  5-6:10  as the 2nd!

I dont know. I really think it is a mix of teeth and developmental. I feel like no matter what i do at the moment changes anything. I thikk after 10.5hrs of sleep he isnt tired enough to sleep through the teething pain, yk??
I think i will drive myself crazy wonderig what the problem is and how i can change things to make it better.
I guess i should just do set nap and bt again until these damn teeth come through and at least until i get back from holidays (we leave for greece sunday until thursday and then in the middle of september for 2 weeks to israel) maybe then we can try again or MAYBE i will be lucky and he will push through the ot abd things will get back on track! I think otherwise i will lose my mind!

What times do you think would be good for set nap/bt??

What is the priority now?  I think you are right that when it is developmental or teeth, you cannot do much.  What do u want the most?  Later wake up?  Or longer night sleep?  You did 4-ish A yesterday which was much shorter than the previous days and the days you got long sleep was much longer A.

If you want to shift wake up later, I would actually do 2 naps, then 9 bt to get him to sleep past this dreadful 5:30!  That might be better for your holiday, just do whatever.  Let him stay up and pass out himself, so you can enjoy a bit.

Well today bt at 9 is not possible for me. We are invited to dinner and i have never let the babysitter put ds to sleep so he needs to sleep before we leave. This is why i usually stick to q bt of 730 at the latest when i do set naps because otherwise i can never go out until very late and i dont have a life ;D otherwise i would do later so i can wake later in the morning yk?
Maybe i do today 7 so i get wu at 530/540 tomorrow and then tomorrow push to 730?

Poor Liam, so so tired.  Teeth are just awful!!  Canines were the worst for us!  Does he have an amber necklace?  It saved our lives until the canines.  Follow his leads, you can't go wrong.  I am glad that you still get to go out! My crazy DH never wanted baby sitter or the like.  Sigh...  I almost threw him out the door, DH, that is.  Lol
