At 3 months I would be expecting about 6oz per bottle really. Some babies take less, some more. A lot of formula fed babies are needing longer than 3 hours between feeds at this stage too.

Have you tried a faster teat? You can encourage them to go longer between feeds by stretching the time. So, start with the first feed and don't feed her until as close to 3 hours as you can get without her getting too distressed, so distract do what ever you can. Then feed and because she is that bit hungrier she should take more (using a faster teat can really help providing it's not too fast for her). The next feed you make sure it's at least the same time between the first two feeds, or a 5-10 mins longer if you can and you keep going like that until you get to the 3 hours. It will take a few days to gradually stretch her.

Technically, she won't be 3 months until 10 more days but I will go buy the bigger size teats this weekend and see what happens. Thanks

Don't worry about what the packs say - both my kids were on medium teats well before they turned 3 months and fast flow teats not too long after!

Remember to that it will probably take her a couple of feeds to get used to the new flow so dribbling milk is quite normal at first!

Yes I'm. She usually takes 3 oz at one time, burps, takes sometime and a little later takes another oz. rarely eats all 5oz

That's not too bad, just watch that it doesn't run over that time! Ideally a bottle feed should be done in about 20 mins, if it takes much longer than that then they don't get a chance to get properly hungry again before the next feed so take a small feed and need feeding again sooner and then only take a small feed etc, etc!

Last night was not good DF @11:00- 2.5z(typical) but then NF@2:50-3.5oz(usually closer to 3:30am) and then another feeding @5:40am-2.5oz and fell asleep(I wonder if she was really hungry). Woke up at 7:30 and had only 1oz (usually the first feeding of the say is the smallest but not so small). I hope she can make it to 10:30, you think she'll make it to 10:30am?
