10 month old waking regulary
« on: September 07, 2013, 21:05:56 pm »
Hi all

I need some help please as I havent had many full nights sleep in
10 months I'm going back to work in a couple of months.

Samuel wakes 2-3 times most nights if you go in and put his dummy back in he settles quite quickly.

Its not the dummy falling out what wakes him up because it often falls out when he is asleep and he stays asleep.

Do I need to wean him off his Dummy?

We have had him on EASY for months but he has just started having a long nap in the morning. The afternoon nap is a bit all over the place

7am btl
8am breakfast

9.30 Nap 1.5 -2 hrs

11ish snack
12.30 Lunch

Any time between 2 and 4 nap usually 45min

5pm Dinner

6.15 bath
Bottle
Bed

Thanks in advance

Xx

Hi there and welcome to BW!

Hugs for the nw's.  I'm thinking that the paci may not be the problem but rather its his routine.  His A is really short for a 10 mo old (average A is 3-4 hrs).  I would start to increase his A, 10-15 min at a time until his A is around 3.5 hrs and then see how he's doing.  When increasing his a, increase by 10-15 min and then wait for 2-3 days for the next increase.

Wrt his dummy, can he re plug himself?
