DD not feeding in the morning...
« on: September 10, 2013, 12:41:58 pm »
My LO is 14 weeks now and has never taken a full feeding in the morning(7:30am) only 2-3oz when the NF was around 3:30am. Now she is having her night feeding closer to 5:00am and at that time will eat 4oz (DF @ around 10:30pm). And she goes right back to sleep.  The problem is wheen she wakes up at around 7:30am she will only take 1/2- 1 oz. and then be hungry soon after that, but wont take a full feeding either and then throws the whole day off. Any advise?

You can give her a bit of A time before you feed her - half an hour or so won't make too much difference to the day. Not all babies (or grown ups!) are hungry as soon as they wake.

Hi ,
Had  a similar challenge with DD, however , there is light at the end of the road , as you LO grows up , the 5:00 am feed will drop . and the DF & 7 am feed intake will go up.

But like Lolly said, it might be a good idea to have some A time before the 7 am feed.

I've been giving her about 30 min already. U think I should extend that to 45min? 1 hour? Also, when Should I  expect her to drop the 5:00am feeding?
