My DS will have the odd phase where he only eats toast or rice cakes or one day will love cauliflower and the next day spits it out but generally speaking he is a very good eater.  75% of the time he will happily eat broccoli, green beans, peas, sweet potato, cauliflower, black beans, kidney beans, lentil soup, rice, quinoa, hummus, and avocado.  I regularly hear that toddlers are fussy eaters so should I brace myself to expect him to turn into a fussy eater one day and I'll have to puree veggies and hide them in other foods to get him to eat them?  Or are some kids just not picky eaters and perhaps this loveliness will remain?

We're actually vegan so we don't eat meat.  I know that scares a lot of people in western culture but he is very healthy and he's only been sick once for a couple of days in his life  :D.  We choose a meat/dairy free diet for health reasons.  He is very happy eating lentils, beans of all sorts, and a variety of veggies and grains so he gets enough protein  :).
