WU at 8:00 but she wakes up at 7:30-7:40? Unreasonable expectations fro me??
Anything within 30min of ideal is when I got DS up - she's a person, not a robot ;)

You might like to try something like this:
8 - WU
11:15 - S
1 - WU
4 - S
5:30 - WU
8/8:30 - BT

See, in that situation, I'd just get her up because to me, that's a reasonable WU time and TBH, 7-7 is the night that fits with most kids' body clocks/circadian rhythm best.

Hi there becj86. Our EW are getting worth and worth. Now it's 4:30-4:45 and I am not able get her back to S. One time I walked with her while feeding her and shush/patted her and she fell asleep but it only worked once. She also started to get tired 2 hrs into A so I've been putting her to S at 2.5 hrs of A and her naps are 1.5 hrs long. So with EW and shorter A we are adding back the CN and I am not able to get a later BT out of her to get a latter WU. Omg and the time change is getting closer. I am not looking forward to 3:30 am WU :)

Ok, sounds like she's having overtired EW's. They're very tough to resettle. Hugs.

Are you spending plenty of time outdoors in the morning, ideally as soon after ideal wakeup as possible to set her body clock to this time zone? I'd just get yourself close to what the timing will be after the clocks change if you can (so 1hr later than you currently want).

It might be worth posting a new topic just to get some extra eyes on your current issue.

When L was doing this, I did EBT and when I did resettle, he slept longer and the OT was gone. Are her naps solid and she's waking herself from them?

No we are never out in the morning, usually out in the afternoon.
Before  A got shorter  her naps where  a good length if she didn't resettle in the EW ( she mixed up that early S with the mornin nap). Now that we are on 2.5 hr A her naps are 1.5 hr long. I did wake her at 1.5 from the second nap so I could give her a CN to get her to a reasonable BT, other wise it would've been at 3:30-4:00.
Ok thanks I will do that. Thanks very much for all your help!

He again. I am desperate here. I posted another topic but not getting any replîes. Now her A and S are all over the place. DH and I are in panic mode and can't see the solution. It feels like we are starting to go back to rocking her and feeding to S because don't know what to do. Here was our yesterday

Oct 23 2013

5:15 WU cooing
5:30 whining crying E
5:40 awake in the crib A
E sweet potato and milk
E
7:30 awake in the crib
7:40 S (2.5 hrs)

10:10 WU her E A
E banana and water
E
12:30 awake in the crib cooing then crying UT? Get her out and read a book back in the crib crying so APOP E. Fell asleep on breast but when to off the breast woke up and crying. Laying and crying in the crib shush/pat then E again and
1:10 S in my arms
1:40 WU crying rocking to S

2:40 WU A
E
5:12 awake in the crib then crying
6 ish S but waking up on and off

11:30 WU crying shush/pat
11:44 E then got hiccups
12:15 awake in the crib then whining
Shush/pat 12:40 S

And this is today so far . Not sure what to do with the rest of the day, either another nap 45-1 hrs or very very EBT 4:30????

Oct 24 2013

5:10 WU cooing A (2 hrs 50 min)
5:30 E looks sleepy
6:00 try to return to S by shush/pat but didn't work
6:20 out of the crib
E sweet potato water then breast
8:00 awake in the crib S (1.5)

9:30 WU her E A (2 hrs 40 min)
E rice cereal w banana ( a little)and milk
E
12:10 S cryin so shush/pat
12:40 WU ( OT???) playing then crying so shush/pat. 12:55 S

1:40 WU crying can't resettle E A, but crying and yawning

So her BT is going to be at 4??

Her day is pretty much shifted - its running 5:30-6, which just really needs to be a bit later, right? Your options really are to do a really EBT (I have done that before when L was really chronically OT) or sneak in a CN. She doesn't seem to be OT, really, just needs her day shifted so I'd do a CN (APOP'd if you have to) and do BT around 7:30 and put a lot of effort into resettling if she wakes at 5. Another possibility is wake to sleep but frankly, if she's doing 11+hr nights and not OT, that's not going to work until you put her to bed for the night later.
