How to increase activity time in 4 month old
« on: October 23, 2013, 12:08:38 pm »
Wondering how to increase activity time in my 4 month old.  He seems to cap at about 1.5 hours.  I end up doing a lot of walking with him outside (when it was warm) and now in our little home to get him to 1.75 hours.  Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance. :)

What is he doing during his activity time? My DS liked a change of scene when he got fussy - so play gym to baby chair to playmat etc.

I have three to four stations...but sometimes they work and sometimes they don't... I'm wondering if I'm pushing him for too much A time and then I get short naps.  Do I stick with the longer A times and eventually the naps become longer?  Not sure how to handle this...

walked with my LO for 15 minutes today before swaddling and sitting with him for a few minutes... he falls asleep in my arms but then starts screaming (again) when I put him down.  I just broke this about 1.5 weeks ago... having to bounce him forever but he seems to have forgotten how to put himself to sleep again.  Oh, what to do... afraid I'll be stuck with a 30 minute nap again cause all his screaming makes him more and more tired = overtired :(

Help...

It might be worth reining it back in then. Would it be worth putting a post in the general EASY area so you can get some eyes on your routine?
