Tell me it's worth it.that im doing the right thing.
My gp reckon it " just for bonding" at this stage.

Tell your gp to take a running jump. What an *&^!!  The very worst thing you could do now is slow down on feeding.

Ibuprofen all the way, and feeding.  Hope the abx help.   I had recurrent mastitis, it's an absolute killer, rest + ibuprofen + feeding is what kicked it in the end.  BUT I fed my boy for 17 months and have done the same for my girl.  It is so worth it.

Hugest hugs.  (very gentle ones)

Was your GP saying that in relation to BF.!?! Wow!!!!

Yes, it is worth it so much - both for you and for your LO.

Hang in there Happy. Hopefully the antibiotics will klick in soon enough for you and you'll be out the other side of it before you know it.
Get all the help you can get from family, etc now so that you can rest and allow your body to heal. Your body is still "running low" after giving birth, so give it a chance to heal now and you'll hopefully be back to a fab BF relationship again with all the lovely snuggles that go along with it.
(((((Hugs)))))

Your GP is a twit.  Silly fool.  Of course it's for more than bonding!  Good job no one told people 200 years ago that or the human race would've died out.

You're giving your LO (and yourself!) so many potential health benefits by BF that you just wouldn't be getting if you were FF.  You'll come out the end of this sooon

Your dr sounds mad! Here is some info on all the reasons why BFing is more than just bonding Reasons to be proud!

I agree feeding is the best way to clear the blockage so feed, feed feed. I hope it gets better soon.

Hope you are feeling better hun. Virtual kick up the butt for that GP! I however am not really that :o as I've found quite a lot of bizarre ideas about BFing from GPs especially and I hate to say it, male ones.

Hope little baby is helping you out by feeding lots and in different positions. I've heard dangling over baby on all fours ::) is meant to be really good. I couldn't manage to get G to do this when I tried though.

Lots of love and big power to the boobs :-*
