No nap day? 25mos
« on: November 17, 2013, 07:15:33 am »
We have guests today and I just can't see being able to tear Audrey away from the party for a nap, not with so many kids around. They'll be arriving before her usual nap time of 12.30. Should I try and give her a short, late nap? May not be possible... It would probably be 4pm. So if, as I'm expecting, she doesn't nap at all, what time should I do bed? She's up at 7 this morning.

I'd do BT early - like 5, IIWM.

Is it too late to suggest a slightly earlier nap, even if APOP'd and shorter to get her through the PM?

I would try the nap bit if it fails then I would do a 6pm BT unless she is a good tacker - then 5.30pm x

We've had the odd no nap day and aim for 10.5h, expect a couple of NWs but generally back on track pretty quickly x

She often tacks on but probably unlikely she'd do more than 13 hrs. She has done in the past but never when you need it ;) yk?

I'd go for 6pm with E, she can be a good tacket but rarely goes to bed happily when it's early. We also stil do ok with a late CN at around 4ish. But I think she's always been unusual with how late she can go and still keep her normal BT. I'm aware that it doesn't work for all. Have a good day x

My baby is such a trooper. She did great until she got told 'no' for hitting at 5pm, fell to pieces, so it was bedtime. She needed a bath, was in bed at 5.45 and asleep straight away. FX we don't tend to get OT wakings, she's really a great sleeper. Hopefully she'll sleep til her usual 7am and be refreshed and recharged tomorrow. She had a fantastic day playing with all the kids - it is hard work keeping up when you are the littlest!!
