Has HTTJ Become a Prop or is it WT?
« on: November 29, 2013, 12:54:54 pm »
My DS is 4.5 months and for the past three days we have been using HTTJ at naptime to extend his naps - he has been doing great. Wakes at the 30 minute mark as per usual but falls back asleep within 20 minutes and proceeds to sleep until what would be the 2 hour mark of being in bed as long as I am there to hold his jerks through the remainder of the nap. However, since doing this there have been several night wakings and we have to do the same thing at night - something that we have never done before. We are new at implementing EASY and while his feedings have been on a four hour schedule for awhile now, his WT was all over the place (anywhere from 1.40-2.20). For three days we have been doing a WT of 1.40 - since the HTTJ and WT change have both started at the same time I'm not sure which one has led to the frequent night wakings? Should I try to extend his morning wake time or should I wait another day and see how it goes? Or just increase all his WT's now?
Thanks in advance

Would you like to post up a "typical" EASY for us to take a look at? SOunds like he is really doing well with the HTTJ, not sure if he needs any changes to his routine to help further...This is a prime age for jolty sleep and short naps so think you are doing great to start with!
