Ladies I just wanted to pop on with an update.
Since our holiday he seems to have regulated finally. Was looks like nth is most days :)
WU 7.30-8
BT 7
When he is home he has quiet time for an hour or so but usually in front of the TV. If he is in his room he goes to sleep ::)

Haha it won't last forever I'm sure :) thing is he has daycare 8.45 3 x a week so it's sometimes touch and go as I hate waking him! He's a kid that needs his sleep to not be a cranky pants.

It's funny, toms sleeping in too but not tired at BT som in having to regulate his WU as well. Said to DH it's either terrible or fantastic and when it's fantastic I can't even appreciate it lol.

Surely that has to be pay off for the trouble he and t have caused you!
:P maybe it is, he's STTN again too which is a nice change from the few months of nightmares and night terrors.

Thanks for your help lovelies - I'm sure without your advice we would still be in a muddle.

Hey ladies...just wonderig what your thoughts are :-\
I think we went through the 3 yr GS and had loooots of sleep and now Z is taller! But, following this he has also started a third day at kindy/daycare (8.45-2.45) and just the last two nights have got shorter. (12 hrs - then last night 11 and I heard him tossing and turning till 7.15am)

My gut is that this is OT ??? If so Dyt an early night would help...or 2? - I was thinking 6pm BT?

We also have the great timing as tomorrow night and sat I'm at this wedding. DH doing tomorrow then my parents so I'm certain he will ew, and maybe nw if he gets anxious. Trying to figure out he best way to minimize OT. :-\ I 'think' a nap may make things worse.

An early night is a good thing to plan - maybe see how he's looking towards the end of the day, and wing it a bit depending on that. Early bath etc so that you can just bundle him in?

After the nap was gone I found it was a good thing to just push through if at all possible. That way his body got into the habit of sleeping in (yes, it happens!! - only sometimes) if he needed it rather than going to bed early.

Your DH will cope whatever happens x
