Shes been doing 6h am a, 1h50 min nap and 4.25/4.5 pm a (i pd at 4h a but takes 15-30 min to fall asleep). She was doing better with ew but still nw. Last night nw was 1+h and ew so

Wu 7.10
nap 1.10-3
bt 7.45!
Nw 1+h

I thought perhaps i was wrong bout ut so tried this today

Wu 7
nap 12.35-3.30!! i woke
Bt 8 (pd 7.30)

Im confused as to whether shes nw/ew cos shes ut or ot! all these wakings are happy (even when i know shes ot). Any ideas in what i should be doing??

Shes had 2 singing nws so far tonight...and oh shes not teething, ss, will be 2 on jan 17th...

I would think that she probably only needs about 13 hours total at her age... So plan for that.
I think the NW are from a good nap with too short of a second A time.
If she naps for 2 hours, I would plan for a 11 hr night.

Wake 7
Nap 12:30-2:30
Bed 8

Hi

Thanks for replying. I tried longer a times yesterday...but she still had 3 nws. These were unhappy :-/

wu 6.25
nap 12.05-2.25 capped
Bt 7.35 (pd 7.10)

she seemed ot at bt...dyt its just a routine tweak she needs to get a times right or time.to adust to longer a time? also shes hsn amd.doesnt do well with capping. Is that something she will get used to?

Thanks again
aishi :)

Hi,

She is approaching her 2nd birthday and there is a developmental leap at this age which affects sleep. IMO you should just stick to your normal routine as much as your LO will allow. My DD is suspectble to OT and so i did allow a slighter earlier uncapped nap and normal BT OR slightly earlier BT if the nap is short.

Hth x

Thanks Hena. We just got over 18 mo regression and a dev leap! it seems never ending :(

she woke from nap at 3.05 so 1h15 min nap. So much for my plan! i would stick to our routine except we never really got back on track

Any thoughts on what time sleep for bt??

I'm probably too late but with that nap I'd shoot for BT between. 6.30&7pm

She woke at 8.20 so 11h15min NS minus the nws. I tried 5h35 a yesterday after 12h ns but she was ut for that, the night before she had 11.5h ns and did a good nap on 5h35a (i capped at 2.5h) but got ot for bt. Dyt i should try same a today or just bite bullet and do a nnd and 6pm bt??

I wouldn't do a NND - I would so what you can to get and keep things on track. With a night like that I would have woken R at 8am to try and preserve the day. I think you need to get back to implementing your routine with some consistency. Just think if you feel like you're all over the place, how do you think your LO feels?

Today I would do this:

WU: 8.20
Nap: 1-3pm
BT: 7pm

What do you think? X

She seems happier than i am! Lol but i see your point!

that sounds like a plan for today. Do u suggest i wake in mornings to stick to a routine regardless of how bad the night is?
