Ibthink you have to judge it on how bad the night was. For us, I always have a cut off of about 8/8.15 with a bad night when I'm trying to get back on track. Otherwise I think you run the risk of chasing your tail iykwim and making it harder to get back to where you want to be.

Good luck today x

Sorry I didn't see it, was getting R from preschool.

I would have done 1pm based on tbr bad night to avoid OT. But if you didn't think she'll sleep then I'd do 2-3.30pm instead of 1-3pm. I wouldn't allow 2h at 2pm elSe you might end up OT/ut loop x

Napped from 2-3.50 i didnt have the heart to wake her :( pd for bt at 7.55 but.didnt sleep till 8.35

ugh!! i have no idea what im doing. I dk if shes ot, ut, if being hsn is affecting sleep. I dont see any patterns in her.a times after ns or nap length anymore. I need a plan.

I need someone to tell me what to do and what routine to stick to. My MI is seriously on the blip!

Oh hon, big hugs. I don't think letting her sleep until nearly 4pm is going to help your BT shenanigans. You know I have a LO who is bordering on hsn if she's bit hsn so i get the fear of the dreaded OT. It is hell (hence my own post today re:R) but it's time to get tough. You need to re-establish your routine, yes? So you will have to cap her nap just to get her to where she need to be at BT so that your whole day/routine can be reestablished. If it were me I would do tbr following:

WU: no later than 8am (if you continue to let her sleep late after being up half the night, she just think, yay I can do that because i get a lay in!)

Nap: 1-3pm ( of she won't nap at 1pm, let her nap later but get her up by 3.30pm to preserve BT)
BT: 7pm

Wash and repeat for 4days to a week and cross everything you've got!

What do you reckon? X

I would put to bed at 7, anticipating sleep
By 7.15. However if you have naptime shenanigans a short nap, then you may have to consider an earlier BT. The earliest I would go though is 6.30, and only do so if the nap is broken or less than 1.5h. If you think she'll not make it to 7pm on 1.5h nap then go for 6.45 (asleep by 7pm)

Most importantly stay consistent in your approach. When you look at her thinking I have not got the heart to get you up, just think what BT and your night will be like if you don't. I hate waking R up but I do it to preserve her night and my sanity!!!!!! I hope that'll help you xxx

so 1.5h nap right? I wouldn't say that was OT or UT. Maybe with 8am WU that's all she needed. I would shoot for 7pm BT (asleep by that is). That is only an 11h day but given she's used to more DTS, i hope she won't be UT. What do you think?

Hx

sorry, maths is not my thing! I would yes. I say that on the basis that you are effectively playing catch up to get her back on track. So with an 8am WU, 11h is a short day yk? If you're not altogether comfortable with that, then perhaps go for 6.45pm at the earliest?

The Wakings sound OT but truly I can't see how on the daybtjatbupunhad. With a 7am WU I would go with a 1pm nap and 7pm BT.

Do you think she could be in pain / discomfort? It is an odd pattern of waking based on your day yesterday.

See how you go. I can always try and get you some more eyes x
