Please don't leave her to cry for 15 minutes! As you probably know BW is really any any Cry it Out method because we believe there are gentler ways to get a baby to sleep that don't compromise that trust relationship.

A 45 mins nap is usually under tired. Maybe she needs a bit more A time? But tbh (cn't remember if I've said before sorry) that this age is just brutal for short naps, you may have to just resign yourself to doing what you can but that she will essentially grow into longer naps.

Sorry but I don't believe any  part of the BW method condones a baby "crying hard" on their own for any period of time (otherwise I wouldn't be here). It may work but it's success sound like CC to me. Even though it's only 5 minutes, it's still allowing baby to scream on their own. Babbling, whinging, mantra cries are different.
I don't mean to offend any one by all means every parent chooses how to raise their children - it's their right after all. But that style isn't condoned BW style. Mod - correct me if I'm wrong! Please!

Clarabella, for my ds nothing worked either for short naps....I just accepted the fact that it's an age thing.... He started taking longer naps automatically right went he turned 6 months.. Just hang in there... It all gets better... In the meanwhile, u can try extending awake times as the mod suggested :) :)
