16 weeks always fussy 45 min after waking up...
« on: January 13, 2014, 21:09:17 pm »
My 16 wo DS2 seems to always get fussy 45-60 min. after waking up.  He sleeps great at night, usually wakes up at 7:00-7:30 am. We're still working out A times, but he usually can stay awake 1hr30-1hr 45 min before needing a nap. We've started stretching out our 45 min naps so now he's starting to sleep 1.5-2hrs for naps.   I've tried putting him down at this 1 hr fussy mark and it took him an hour to fall asleep, so I don't think he's tired?  He is bottle fed (with breast milk) and eats about 5 ounces every 3-4 hrs.  I do get a burp out after he eats, too.  Anyone else notice this with their LOs?  Is it gas/digestion related, boredom, just wanting snuggles?  I should add that it does seem to help when I pick him up/start moving around with him, but from that point on, he's more fussy until it's nap time...

My bet would be boredom, at least that's what it was for us. It sounds to me like you are doing everything right, so just keep up what you are doing!
