5oz takes 1hr-WWYD?
« on: January 15, 2014, 15:15:40 pm »
DD &bottles have been a steady&daily battle since
i started her on them.
she is BF but i want to give her 1bottle of BM every day.
she will take it,but it takes an hour to get a 5oz bottle
into her.i am using MAM bottles,&swap between the slow&
medium flow teats.she was taking it better with the
medium flow,but the past 2days,she gags&gasps,so i
swapped back to the slower flow.

any tips or advice?an hr seems totally excessive.today,we
barely had time for a nappy change before she was
asleep again. ::)

A bottle feed should be done in about 20 mins, an hour is way too long. I would stick to one flow, not chop and change. Could she have a sore throat or anything? Is she teething?
