I used Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature as it had a wide base to the teat which seemed more like a nipple. I never tried formula in it though only EBM. Not sure if that makes a difference.

Oh, good point...DD's 1 & 2 had formula, so far DD3 has only had ebm in a bottle.

I use Lansinoh mOmma, because the nipple is more like mine (hmm TMI), plus it's short and round.  DS took to it like a house on fire!

Buying teats shaped like my nipples worked for us too!  Got my daughter back on the bottle after a spell of refusing it. My son started refusing it as well but I just persevered with him and offered it before every feed.  He used to only take an oz or two at first but within a week or two was taking a full feed.

We used tommee tippee closer to nature too.

I had a good look at mine in between feeds and went shopping based on that.

The conversations you end up having as a mother, eh?!

What is your flow like too?  DS hated bottles (Avent), which was not that upsetting to me as I hated pumping and didn't go anywhere long or had other children. I figured out why though around 6 months that the age appropriate teat/nipple was too slow for him as I have a fast flow.  As soon as I went with the older ones, he was fine.  We also went with a soft straw sippy (by Boots) for water and he liked that he could suck with straw fast.

(((Hugs))) It really bothered me too. I tried all different teats too but in the end just picked one and offered it before every single breastfeed in the day.  It took a couple of weeks but we got there in the end.  I'm sure you will too :)

Jack was exactly the same age as your lo is now when we were going through this.  Have you been offering it before every feed?  That's the only thing which did it for us. It wasn't a big deal if he didn't want it, I just waited a couple of minutes then fed as usual.

i offer once a day,every day,before the 2nd feed
because DD1 isnt around&i can give Dd2 full attention.

got a Dr Browns today,so will try that tomorrow. I've
decided if that doesn't work, I'll just stick to the MAM ones
because they seem  to be her preference.

do you think i should offer before each feed?
she will take the bottle.she just takes forever after
the she1st ounce.
she twists and turns her head or pushes it out with her tongue.

I don't know - offering before every feed worked for us, though I didn't bother before bedtime or in the night!  It took a while though.  Ifhe jjust wanted to play with it I let him.  We went from him screaming every time he saw the bottle to taking a full feed from it in increments but it did take a while. It was a faff offering it all day long though ;)

Also, it took two weeks of doing that AFTER I'd stopped trying different bottles.  I think he needed the consistency for him to feel comfortable with the bottle.
