Menstration lowering breast milk supply?

Hi ladies! I just got my period for the first time since giving birth 15 weeks ago. It's fairly light but I feel that my breasts are not as 'full' as usual. Can menstration decrease supply? If so, is there anything I can do or will it resume as usual once my cycle is over?

Hi,
Yes, it's really common for AF to cause a dip in supply. Keep BFing as usual and your supply will bounce back again after AF.

YES! I had a huge difference. Had to start taking fenugreek otherwise DD was hungry and she was never patient enough to just feed longer than usual. It did magically just come back as soon as AF finished.

As PPs have said, yes, it's totally normal.  There is some useful information here http://kellymom.com/bf/can-i-breastfeed/herbs/natural-treatments/#calcium about you might be able to alleviate that somewhat.
