Food mills etc.

Just wondering if I really need to buy a food mill? I've seen this device mentioned a few times in my baby food books and apparently is separates the skin from the 'meat' of the vegetable (skins off of peas and corn etc.). I steam my DS's food and puree it in the blender, surely that's enough? Won't any indigestible foods just pass right through his little bod and come out in his poop?

Never heard of a food mill until just now. You don't need it. Take into account you don't even need to puree food for babies 6 months+ so why would you need to remove the skins off peas?? Sounds a bit odd to me tbh.

Me too! It all seems so fussy, it's not like our moms ever did that. I'm glad to hear that you no nothing about them, that tells me it's just a money sucker!

money sucker!
Yep.
So many pointless things out there designed to empty our pockets of money for the belief we are doing the best for our babies!
