I would probably look at transitioning him. Growth spurt for us meant a couple of days (or a little more than a couple actually) of waking up more often (3 rather than 2 times at night) and then going back to 2 night feeds, or something like that and actually eating in the middle of the night rather than playing about or hard to settle after a feed.

I think you could start to move towards 3.5hr EASY. Also you mentioned he missed the 4th nap (we started to move onto 3 naps around 3 months too)... I used to have to do a very early bedtime on the days mine didn't have the 4th nap (as early as 6pm) until we spaced our A's out during the day and were able to get to our previous bedtime hour. Still, with the 4th nap gone, bedtime will be a little earlier so my thoughts are that he was a little overtired by bedtime, which is another reason he may have woken up in 20-30min intervals between 7-11pm!

Have a look at this link: Time to Transition - 3hr, 3.5hr or 4hr EASY

Let me know how you go :)

I hope this growth spurt does only last a few days. I've heard it can be weeks :(
I had got him sleeping through only days before so um kinda gutted (7-1 & 1-7) just one feed which was lovely.

I have started a 3.5hr feeding schedule but he has just woke up loads during this nap and can hear him stirring now which means I need to do A before his next feed at 1pm.

I am worried spacing his A time will result in even worse S time

Todays EASY

Starting at 2am feeds-    4    6     AM

Tuesday
E        6
A        - 7 45

E        9.30
A        - 11.15
SY      11.15 -  12.45

E        1.00   (wanted feeding at 12.45)
A       12.45   - 2.15
SY     2.15 -     3.30

E         4.30  / 5 (2oz TU)
A         3.30- 5.15
SY       5.15 - 6.15 (didn't fall asleep till 6pm)
