That's a shame hon. Don't despair! With Ew, i tend to go in (if I think she'll go back to sleep) and say, come on R is time to sleep/time for night nights. No cuddles etc - just soft but firm voice (not cross bi matter how frustrated I'm feeling)

Today I would do this:

WU: 5.30
Nap:12.45-2.45
BT: 6.30 (asleep by)

I know you're probably going to think the naps too short on a short night, but if she gets to make up for it in the day, why should she sleep at night yk?

What do you think? X

Iiwm, I'd start BT earlier if you're worried about that. The way I view it is this, how's meant to know what the rules are if I keep changing them?

Sooo todays easy

Wu 5.30
nap 12.40-2.30
bt 6.30 (pd 5.45)

it took her a while to fall asleep at bt but i only had to go in twice, once she dropped water on herself and second she was bit upset.

Im thinking if she has ewu again that i should do something like this

Wu 5.30
nap 12-2.15
bt 6.15

Only cos i dont think the problem is her routine or the set times, its just the prop so if i keep these a times i can prevent her getting into an ot spiral and push day forward when prop is no longer an issue?? wdyt?

Personally I'd stick with it. I think 12 at her age is too early for a nap and 2h15 on the odd occasion is fine but not a regular thing to compensate the ew. You may find your LO comes to rely innate earlier and longer nap to make up for the NW?

I agree with the issue re the prop, and you are dealing with that. I think once she gets te hang of it, you will be home and dry xx

Well it was a moot point. She sttn :D

Wu 6.05
Nap 1-3 capped (pd 12.40)

aiming for 7pm bt.

Can i just check re nap if she doesnt settle till after 1 should i cap at two hours and latest 3.15pm with 6.30/7 bt depending on nap length?

Again thank you, i never would have realised i was dealing with a prop issue if it hadnt been for you guys xx

Why the cross face? lol

I put dd down at 6.30 to be asleep for 7. i had no call backs just her singing but she didnt fall asleep till 7.30.…so it was a 13.5h day. Seems too long. Dyt i should keep nap at two hours for a few days or cap it to 1h45?

I am very happy that the prop issue seems to be solving and that she is doing much better!
I think that 13.5 h day is OK with a 2 h nap. You can try to cap to 1.45 and see how it goes if this routine doesn't work for you. But I would give at least a week, and re-evaluate after, before changing anything.

It was meant to be  ;D NOT  >:( lol!

Yes, I'd stick with what you're doing. See how things settle and then consider if your need to tweak anymore or just enjoy the ride!!!

I would, and just bring the nap 15m earlier if needs be but still cap at 2h.

Btw, how's she doing re : teeth - any sign of those molars?
