Hi moms- I NEED HELP!!!!!!!

My LO is 15 months old.  Since birth, he has been on the BW routine with great success (minus moments of sleep regression, of course).  Fast forward to two months ago- I am currently pregnant and was on bed rest for several months.  My parents and my husband took over taking care of the LO.  In that time, he started teething again, was sick and in general felt a huge difference since I was no longer around as much.  So MANY horrible habits have now become the "norm" when putting him to sleep: shushing, rocking, singing, holding him and waiting for him to fall asleep in your arms (taking him approximately 20-30 min to fall asleep for naps, and up to 50 min to fall asleep at night).  Additionally, he wakes up frequently (anywhere from 2-7 times) a night!  As of recently, I am no longer on bed rest and am determined to retrain my LO to sleep before the baby comes.

Is there a "modified" version (for pregnant mommies) of PU/PD method that I can use to train him? I can't continuously pick him up and put him down in my current condition and my husband gets home several hours after our LO's bedtime.  What can I do in this situation?!?! :-\

Any/all suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!

Hi there since your baby is over a year old I'm going to move your post over to the toddler sleep board.

Big ((hugs)) to you and congrats on the pregnancy. Given your LOs age you might want to consider Wi/WO Or GW (depending on how far the non IS sleeping has gone). Have a look r the link below and see what you think:

Walk In/Walk Out vs. The Gradual Withdrawal Method (HOW TO CHOOSE)
