Oh dear men lol sometimes just don't get it do they...!
I'd go for 6.30/6.45 keeping 12.5/13 hour day if nap good if less than 2 hours 6.15/6.30!
I got a nice 6.55 WU this am but had an hour NW to get that lol and that was after what I'd call a perfect day too....go figure   ::)

She has almost hit the 2hrs mark, if she has 2hrs 20mins that was always her usual nap length that i havent seen in a while, so maybe thats a good sign. If she wakes at 13:50 then i'll still go 6:30/ 6:45 you think?

Thats the thing with the NW sometimes i am actually glad when i hear her up at 3or so because usually if i give her some milk she will go back to sleep and then go on to have a better WU time. Its nuts

Do you think it's too long or too short A to bed? I just stick with times now I'm done with A times and figuring it out but that's me trying to let go of my stress on sleep ;-) x

Well she has just woke bang on 2hr nap at 13:30 so i am going to go for 6:30 BT thats a 12.5hr day. Its been more like 13 even 14hrs sometimes recently so hopefully this will help.

I wanted to try toget back on track a bit before i did set naps but i think i'll just start it on Monday.

So WU ???
Nap 12:00 - 14:00 (hopefully)
BT 6:45 or 13hrs max day

It will shift a bit on CM days but not my that much.

Do you think that looks ok?

I think set times are the way to go.  It takes the guesswork out which and at least for me, that made for less stress  :D

What's your ideal WU time?

Looks good to me and done forget you can vary times be 15-/+ etc. I tend to stick to set nap unless shattered or ill but bring BT forward by 15/30 mins if nap a wash out. My LO naps random times at daycare so it comes in handy shifting BT a bit then. x

Ideal WU would be 7 (wishful thinking) but i'd be happy with 6:30/6:45. To be quite honest any time past 6 at the moment sounds good to me  :D

I just dont really want BT to be much later than 7,especially with another on the way.I like having a bit of time to get stuff done, relax a bit then early night.

I totally agree in 7pm BT I like my evenings...to be honest I'd take 6am WU and 7pm BT everyday if it stayed like that ;-) x

So would i, but not with a 5/5:30 WU and BT taking an hour. I never used to mind 6 because she would lie in her cot chatting until we got her at 6:30ish, now she screams the min she is awake.

I tried 6:45 tonight and had a cry fest until 7:15. As soon as i leave the room she stands up and screams. So instead of 5hrs A nap 5hrs A i changed to 5.5hrs A nap and what ended as 5hrs 45mins A (13hrs 15min day), so she had a big push today. We'll see if it effect WU tomorrow.

WU 5:50 this morning so getting there. Do you think going straight to 12 for a nap after she is used to 5hrs A is pushing it or shoul i stick with 11:30 5hrs 40mins A for a couple of days then push up to 6hrs?

I was thinking 11:30nap, probably sleep until 13:30 like yesterday and just go with 7pm BT since she was messing around till after 7 anyway, or so you think is should keep trying 6:45 for a few days? x

I think if I were you I'd do 11:45 nap for a couple of days, capping the nap at 2 hrs, which will encourage her to get more sleep at night.  As for BT, not sure if I'd do 6:45 or 7....

Well the last couple of nights have been better she has gone to bed and chatted for maybe 20/30 mins but fallen alseep without my help. Albeit sunday was a blowout with naps as we were out, i timed it so she was in the car for her nap she nodded off within 5 mins but then 20mins later awake. So she was a crack pot, fell asleep for 30 mins on the way home and cried and cried for at home until i got her into bed at 6:30

Last night we had a 2:30 NW where she chatted for 30 mins but them went back to sleep until 6:50 so i cant complain. She has the cold now so maybe thats why she is sleeping longer but hopefully its just that she is getting back to normal.
