Dropping last nap?
« on: March 29, 2014, 06:04:20 am »
Hello ladies!

I need help.  :o

My son is 2.5 yrs old. He refuses his midday nap. Regardless of how tired he is. Even having quiet time and warm bath before won't help. He just refuses. BT also is a struggle. He had became inconsistent, but I pushed nap back and it added the bath and it worked... But now he won't tk it. But as soon as he gets in a car, he's out  ???

Help? ...he's OT. Even w EBT tht he needs he refuses it, when before he was out by 5:30pm.

Thank u  ;)

Fabi

Can you time car journeys for a short nap some days?

Hi, the half year mark can make for some sleep resistance and general monkeying around  :)  If it were me then I would APOP some sleep in the car as Ali says - or anyway that you can get some day time sleep into him.

Failing that it depends on his EASY beforehand. Do you think he could do with a later nap now? Make it later and shorten it a bit as he heads towards dropping it?
