Dropped DF cause EW??
« on: April 04, 2014, 13:15:49 pm »
I have a 9.5 month old daughter. Weighs just about 20 lbs. dropped her DF one week ago today (last Friday) EW's started on Tuesday morning. I've noticed her wake time in the morning is almost exactly 11 hours from her last feed.

Example. Last night I fed her last bottle at 6:50. She was asleep by 7:15. Fussed at 3:45 but woke for the day at 5:50.

Currently she drinks 4 bottles a day with a total of 24-27 oz of formula taken.

Is it possible she still needs a DF at 9.5 months?

In 24 hour period, she's getting 13-14 hours of sleep. 11 at night and 2-3 (average 2.5) daytime sleep. We are struggling with pm nap.

Any advice? Suggestions?

It's entirely up to you and what works best for you.  If the df was helping her to sleep in and didn't bother you - keep up with it.  There's no reason why you have to give it up yet.  My dd was still getting up once a night until 11 months - and then did the ew thing for 3 months after that!

What was her normal wake time?  And this is the age where the naps start to get a little crazy:
From 2 to 1 nap transition (10-12m and older)
