DREAM FEED
« on: April 09, 2014, 03:06:39 am »
My 8 month old little guy is eating three meals a day (still having three naps, but that's another story) - when do I drop the Dream Feed???

Hold me, I'm scared.

You mean 3 solids meals? What is his milk intake like? (Bf or formula?)

Does he have any other NFs other than the DF?

With my DD1 we dropped the DF at about 7mos once she was on 3 solid meals a day.  But you need to make sure he's still getting enough milk cos that's still the most important source of nutrition before 1yo.

I'm following your post. I'm scared of dropping the DF too but it would be nice to go to bed early!

He takes approx 25 ounces of formula a day. Sorta not interested in drinking. The kid loves to eat.

I think 24 oz is the minimum at this age so he is great there...do you think he would be able to handle an increase in the daytime feeds? That way you could drop the df knowing he is getting that in the daytime.
