I would do milk before the nap for sure.

Ok tomorrow I'll try milk before nap and stick with long A time and see what happens.  J looks *really* tired...

Yes great idea, milk before nap and like MSE said, 5hr awake, 2hr down then 5 awake sounds like it could just be the answer for your two... Especially as j did that 45 min nap today which was clearly under tired as he woke up so happy and chatty!
Sounds like a plan for tomorrow!
Sending sleepy vibes for tonight x

I gave Megan a bottle of milk before her nap for ages! Def needed at this sort of age when solids are not fully established.

What a mess. I don't know what to do. Last night h woke at 12.40 and took 40mins to settle. J then woke at 1.30 (so just as h asleep)and eventually went to sleep after being fed at nearly 3. H then woke at 4 and 5.30 j woke at 6.20 h then 6.4 0. I'm thinkin something not right with h given the wakings.

Wwyd today? I don't know whether I should push through or revert to two naps.

I'd play by earon the naps. H often has nights like that - so often that I generally follow the normal routine. Sorry it was so bad - with the two of them waking in relay you'll feel it. ((Hugs))

They look so tired today so I put them down at 3.5hrs A.  Will see how long they sleep.  Maybe I just need to stick with long(er) am nap and short (and cap it) pm nap.  I can't gaurantee naps so I don't like to wake them, then if they do a good night I can push them...

Sounds good!
So many hugs for last night... We had a similar one I'm afraid and then a 5.00 wake up with a push to 5.30 start... They are both so grumpy! So def doing two naps today!

Things are just going downhill here! We've been out and about a lot as it's half term but tbh I can't confine myself to the house for naps it just becomes too stressful. I can't get out in between cos they fall asleep in the car.

They're averaging 12hrs a day now. First nap usually 1hr 15 and second one between 40mins and 4hr but if it's too late in the day they take forever to go to sleep. We had our first 5am Wu as well today for a while. Although h slept through from 6.45 till then. I'm getting despondent with it all esp as I'll be back at work in next few wks.

I feel your pain. I'm back to work for a day on Monday then properly from 16.

Last night older DD had a hacking cough. So my night went

DS sleep 6.45, DD at 7
DD hacking cough 9-9.30
DS woke fed 9.45
DD hacking cough 11.30-1.30 non stop requiring inhaler, medicine, drinks, comfort etc
DS woke and fed around 12.30 and fed
DS woke around 3 and fed
DS up for day 5.15

I shouldn't have fed DS three times but I just wanted him back to sleep quickly!

Omg well done H!!!
I wonder if going back to work will help with the stress of the naps? Be interesting to see if that changes things for you.
Sending you hugs and strength to get though today...

Well they had 3 naps today! 1hr 15min 40mins and 20mins! It'll either be great or awful!

I'm not stressed about naps like I used to be with ds1. I just wish they'd sleep longer when they're clearly tired yk?
