Anybody else get it?! How do I get rid of it?

When do you get it? After or during a feed? At the beginning, end or letdown?

Always used to get this, only on one side! I think it always did it until I stopped feeding! I'd feel it right down to my toes!!

Is it during letdown? I always get it pretty much the whole time I'm BFing. It does get less intense, though

Same here, not sure if it is less intense or I just got used to it yk?

I had that - more with the earlier babies than the last one. I would be walking round the supermarket, hear a baby cry, and get that electric shock (and hope I was wearing breast pads!) I just exhaled, gritted my teeth and waited the ten seconds or so for it to pass! It did lessen as time went on.

ooohh I had it too. Esp after I'd had oversupply. It went on for a few months then disappeared.

hmm....i don't think it's a letdown thing! it was after her DF...and she had taken a good feed....it was so weird! i was lying in bed and couldnt lie on that side....i was all jittery!!!! i don't think i've had it much before...or at least not when i've had time to pause and take note!!!!

Has it gone now? Any other symptoms that could indicate thrush or changing colour of nipples etc.?

no...no other symptoms....and yes...it's gone now...in fact (red face!) i had forgotten all about it until i saw yer replies!xxx

ok....it's back....finished feeding her at 7.15pm....got it first about an hour ago.....really weird!!!!

you think so? it's definitely not during let-down anyway, that's for sure....i am due to meet our public health nurse for DD2's check up next tuesday... will say it to her....although, tbh....she knows zilch about BFing.....

If it is painful or bothering you then yes I would probably mention it next time you see the GP or HV etc.

back again....i'm wondering if it might be thrush?did a google and not coming up with anything else.....

if it is thrush, would i have pain the whole time? it only starts 30-60 minutes after feeding....lasts anything up to 30 mins....then disappears again!

hmmm....i had a read.....ugh....i just *cannot* have something wrong with me *again*.....i just can't. this entire materity leave has been plagued with health issues. ugh.

sorry...am just peeved that something's going on.....the earliest i could get to my doctor is friday, but tbh i'm tempted to wait it out & see what the PHN says on tuesday....

i'll see how tomorrow goes....pah

Yes....I said it last time....she kind of laughed at me and said I was really going through the wars. Humph.

I did a lot. Of googling in the few hours I was awake with it last night and think it may be nipple vasospasms.

Oh no, doubled over in pain is not the same a tingling sensation. Hope you're feeling better. Did your GP try to test at all? Or was she just not very helpful?!

I have found these folks very helpful in the past with some very specific advice - you could email them and see what they say.

Yes, I guess I could go back to her and point her in that direction but I plan to drop another feed on Monday so I'm. Hoping to just feed from the right and pump.from the left....
