3.5 hour EASY
« on: May 28, 2014, 17:13:56 pm »
I think my LO is ready for a 3.5 hour EASY. He is 3.5 months old and can easily go that long without eating.  Problem is naps! He usually only naps for 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes (MAX--rarely).  How can I get him to 3.5 hour EASY without longer naps?

S 2-3:00
E 4:00
S 5-6:00 --> crap nap (usually only 30 minutes)
E 6:30
BT 8pm (top off nursing at this time as well)

We are working to get A times closer to 2 hours but it is slow going unless we are out and about. Usually 1.5-1.75 hours. Thanks in advance!

I think you need to push his A times to get longer naps :) 45 mins to 1h15 are typical UT lengths.  Just add an extra 10 mins and hold for 3 days at least to see the effect.  Keep the extra A time low-key, just a cuddle and walk round the garden or look at a soft toy or something, maybe a slightly extended wind down and give him chance to get used to it.  You'll be at 2h in no time!
