8 month old wont lay down to sleep in crib

Help! 2 weeks ago my son learned how to pull himself to standing in the crib. Since then I either have to hover over the crib and stroke his face and keep him from pulling himself up or I walk him in the stroller to get him  to sleep!  If I leave him standing in the crib he screams and cries. I don't know how to get him to sleep without my help... Any advice?

Hi I think it's just a case of waiting it out, I used to spend a lot of time with my DS in his crib playing sit down/stand up so he got the hang of it! How's your EAS looking as could be LO a bit UT so still happy to practice his new skill!? x

Ashley88 - We're in the same boat with our DD sitting and pulling herself up at 8 months old. I figure it's a phase and we'll continue to help her get settled until the excitement of it all passes.
