Bestsmilee - have you tried both pd for Bt a bit earlier to rule out OT and then later to see if he settles quicker

I would have to agree. WIth such a super long morning he may only need 4 hours A in the PM. Try 6:45 for a while to see what happens. We are having luck with a much earlier BT. I kept thinking UT but now I am pretty sure OT/second wind.

Glad to see I'm not the only one going through this. Support is nice!

I don't think PD earlier is going to do anything. I don't think he is falling asleep OT...why would it take him an hour to fall asleep? It's been like this the past few months. I tried tweaking the nap today PD 1 (instead of 1:15) so he fell asleep around 1:20. I woke him up around 2:45. Let's see if he falls asleep closer to 7:45 today instead of 8 (I doubt it, at least I don't think it will happen in 1 day...)

He doesn't seem tired in the PM. So I'm not sure about only needing 4 hours instead of 5. I don't know...I'm just not convinced the long PM is causing him OT.

pinkladyangel, what time does your LO nap? WU?

Zacsmumme, I am hoping his teeth pop through soon. He got 1 more about a month ago. So he is uneven (only 9!) so I was waiting for the 10th but it never showed...which means it could be on his way or not! Such a guessing game with the teething thing...

Wu is 7 regardless as i work weekdays.
nap is 1.15- 2.45
Bt is 7.30

Pretty sure ours is developmental as his speech is getting better and he seems to be learning new things very quickly.

Nice. I aimed for the 1:15-2:45 nap today (and yesterday as well). Yesterday he still didn't fall asleep earlier, but it seems like he slept in to 6:45, which is a great time for him. No NWs...interesting, because he was soooo cranky today so I checked out his mouth (with quite a bit of struggle), and although I couldn't see his entire mouth, I saw that he was breaking in 2 teeth (at least). So I gave him some ibuprofen and he went down for his nap easily. Tomorrow he is going to be skipping his nap, so EBT it is!

Ahh, teeth can be such a bugger! Sounds like a good night, though. Hope you get more!
