5 week old routine

Hi there,

I have a 5 week old baby that has been on a 3 hour routine from day 1- luckily came naturally to him. His routine is as follows:
8 bottle
11 bottle
2 bottle
5 bottle
7 bottle
10-11 bottle dream feed
Then given a bottle when wakes in the night

He is taking anything from 2-4 ozs. I'm worried he isn't taking enough and wondering should I try and push him to a 4 hour routine or is it too soon? He is currently getting roughly 1 hours a time. Any tips would be hugely appreciated.

Honestly? Looks fab! The times and amounts are just right for his age, relax and enjoy him! With the feed amounts, when he starts draining the majority of his feeds you need to add another oz, he may need to increase the teat size sooner than the packaging info suggests too.

On a 4 hour routine he would likely take less milk than he does now as there is 1 less bottle in the day. His tummy is still tiny (about the size of his fist) so he won't be able to take the extra feed size he would need yet. He would also need to be doing 2 hours awake time to keep the EASY pattern which usually happens around 4 months.
