6 am feed
« on: July 12, 2014, 10:49:33 am »
My baby ( 3 months) has been waking up at 6 am crying. I give him a feed and he drinks the whole bottle. He is still usually quite sleep so put him back down. He wakes up around 8-8:30am. When he wakes he cries but settles after a few minutes. He doesn't seem hungry and wait till around 9-9-30am. So he has a feed then and has a short activity then heads of to sleep. This pattern continues during the day. So he does ESAEASAE. Is that OK, not sure how would get a EASY routine with his 6 o'clock start. Thanks for reading

You could offer a smaller feed at 6 am, then a top-up when he wakes for the day?  But if that doesn't work it's not a big issue to do AEAS, just try to avoid feeding to sleep if you can.  You'll probably find in a few weeks LO might be able to make it those extra few minutes-hour to get to WU time without a feed and you'll be back to EAS :)
