On a day like today what would be best? He woke around 625 and fell back to sleep until 740 when u woke him. He never does this must've been tired from lousy naps yesteday. So I put him down for nap at 1130. If he sleeps for an hour hr he will wake and have lunch but afternoon nap will be late around 430 I'm thinking do what if I tried to keep him up and just do EBT? Otherwise he's going to be up late tonight and I just don't think he will handle the 12-13 hour day going to bed at 730/830 when he's normally down at 7. Thoughts? :)

Does any ap work to get him to have a catnap? How early would you put him to bed?

Oh and yes the next teeth after the front 8 are usually the molars!

Sometimes he will fall asleep in the car but that doesn't ajways work. What time would I try for a catnap ? 4 hrs would be 430-5 then bed at 8 which is late but I guess his normal bedtime around 7 would be too early if he woke at 5 and too late if he didbt nap right? Oh no the molars are next?!!

Usually molars and then eye teeth and more molars at two! Some days I wish they were born with teeth!

I would think if he was up at 7:40 then a 4/4:30 catnap and bed for 7:30/8 would do - if you only get one nap I would think bedtime would have to be way sooner - depending on when he woke yk? So if he woke at 1:00 then bt at like 6:00 pm or earlier!

We did a 30 min nap in car 4-430 and he started to get cranky at 7 so I fed him at 715 and put in crib by 730. He's getting comfortable and trying to fall asleep now at 745. That's why I always wonder if he can handle being up longer but he gets so cranky and I know he's not starving for his bottle because he ate a great dinner at 530. I think he just likes/needs to wind down a little on his own in the crib?

Yeah he might like that bit of time to wind down...I would think anything more than 20 mins to settle for bed would have me tweaking something but then my kids are all spirited and pretty much zonk out if they are in bed at the right time - key is finding that time!

I can't seem to find "that" time! Lol he did fall asleep at 745-50 so just about 15-20 mins to settle. When he starts to get unhappy and fussy and cranky I don't know what ejse to do besides get him ready for bed Abd then he just cries starting with get diaper changed pjs and waiting for his bottle. I've been trying to sit in rocker with him and read right before the bottle but hes just so unhappy. Any other suggestions?

Why not read after the bottle? 15-20 min settling is pretty good, if it went on longer then I would wonder - I assume that if some babies pop right off others need to wind down in bed right?

He just gets real fidgety after the bottle and seems to want to just go in his crib to wind down or play with his lovey or mobile a bit. Today we had a 30 min nsp woke crying and this afternoon I put him down for nap and he's been in the crib awake now for a good 10 mins! Ugh

So today he was up at 7:10 my husband put him down for nap at 11:15 and he woke up crying at 1150. I put him down for a nap at 330 and he never fell asleep. He sat in his crib playing and taking apart his mobile ( no small parts) for 30 mins having the best time but never fell asleep!! I fed him at 645 and straight to bed fell right asleep at 7! He was happy and playing all night ! How is that possible ?!

We had a similar day today where he took a 30 min nap in morning but today was in the car not in his crib. And then he was up crawling and standing and playing and refused afternoon nap again. I put him to be day 630 and he woke up at 9 pm and was in crib awake for a good 30 mins. He started to cry a little but then fell back asleep. Why is he waking he never does that. Im not sure wgat to do tomorrow if he refuses naps again. This is hard

Those early evening wakings are usually ot for us...but being in the midst of the 2-1 makes it hard as then he can't do a good morning A time after a crap night but then if he refuses the 2nd nap it is just a spiral. I would be tempted to try and push out the morning A time and apop to get as long of a nap as I could and have a one nap day just to see what happens. But I tend to roll that way!
