Awesome nap! I would play it by ear really - if he is doing fine mood wise after that lovely nap I would try to get as close to 7 as possible (for sleep though - so if he likes to have his solo winddown perhaps in bed 15 min before that?).

He was in bed by 7!!! So my question is. Tonirrow if he wakes again around 7 and I put him down for nap at 1130 and what if he only sleeps until 12-1230?  Today he didbt eat lunch until he woke at 130 so dinner was late at 6 and to bed 'by 7.

Personally I started giving my kids an early lunch (11 ish) before the one nap so they had full tummies and just did a snack after the nap so supper could be at the normal time.

That's a good idea! Today didbt work out as planned. He woke at 730 and I was planning on lunch at 1130 nap at 12 but I got stuck out with him and he just fl asleep in car at 1216. I'm going to take a chance and try to transfer him to crib. Which never works usually and I might screw up the nap but I'm going to try

Ok it's not working he's awake standing up in crib darn!! Not crying yet so I'll give him a few mins. But now wgat do I do? Feed him lunch ( he's got to be hungry ) and wgat time do i try again for a nap. He only slept about 10 mins in car? I really screwed this one up lol

Ugh! Yeah if he doesn't settle I would do lunch and try again in 45 min or an hour.

Fed him lunch and put him to bed at 120 and he's still awake in crib. What the heck am I going to do?! He's got to be tired!  I don't want to get into thd habit of going to get him out of crib when he should be sleeping

Round 3 just put him down to try again for a nap. So far he's been up for almost 8 hours ! Joy
He's still awake in his crib at the moment !

So he's still asleep from 315. Do I need to wake him at a certain time in order to keep a decent bedtime?

How did it end up going? For us if a nap happened as late as 3:15 I would probably only do 45 min but in saying that DD3 does 5/5.5 hr A times and only a 1.5 hr nap anyways.

He woke after 1 he 20 mins so 435 so my husband is feeding and puttibg to bed now at 730. This was a rough day glad it's over lol

He went to bed no problem at 740 and woke today at 740! Which is late for him. But he's been waking later in am which is nice. Although he is up sitting and chatting a little aroubd 5-530 am. I kept him up tiday from 730-12. We were out so it was hard trying to keep him awake in car but I managed. Got him home have him a snack and a sippy of formula then changed his diaper and put him in crib at 12. He didn't fall asleep until 1215. I think when he's tired aroubd 1130 and I try to occupy him to keep him up he gets ot or a second wind but so far he's still asleep at 1 pm! So fingers crossed. I didn't want to give him lunch before nap because he was tired and a little fussy so I hope the snack helps him ebough to sleep good. Going to do lunch when he wakes and if he wakes at 115 with only an hour sleep should I put him to bed a bit earlier than 730? That will be a long A time if not. Oh no he's up!! 45 mins?! Could be UT chloevalentine.. Here DD can pull at least an extra half hour A after an amazing night sleep like that. 2 nap day then?
