Basically that. Dd is almost 2.5yo and true to my nature I'm hoping for a quick and relatively pain free way to get through this as quickly as possible!

Anyone done it in a month?! Joke (kind of)

Seriously excited to hear if any one has got a magic formula or tips to stay sane through it ;)

Tia! xx

Sorry! DS was just 2, and it took us six months.

Dd was 27 mths when she decided no more naps at home. However she will often fall asleep in the car for a cn in the afternoon if we are going somewhere, and naps twice a week at daycare, so technically we aren't there yet!

Finn started at 2.5yo and we had to start fiddling with the nap a lot.  By 3 he totally gave it up as they didn't nap in his pre-Casa class at school - the option was there but he was too distracted and wanted to have fun with the other kids.  He still only slept 10 hrs at night though so it was a nightmare.  I was in no rush lol  Giving up that nap meant no break at all on weekends.
The tweaking never stops!

Looooong here (sorry!).  DD started skipping the odd nap, once a week or so, around her second birthday.  She is 3 next month and we've only just got to the point where I can comfortably say she's done with it.  VERY occasionally she'll surprise me and fall asleep when she's in her room for quiet time, but I am finally confident that she doesn't need it and can happily make it through the day.  Fx crossed it's a lot quicker for you!

henry was about 6 months from giving up the nap (at 3) to not needing it at all (about 3.5)
